What
is the Best Fat Loss Workout?
When you are looking for a fat loss
workout to help boost your weight loss plan, there are literally
thousands you can choose from. Boot camp, belly dancing, hip hop, step, stability ball, and many,
many more. To choose the right fat loss workout for you, you should first
consider the right type of exercise you need for your body in order to produce fat
loss.
The best fat loss
workout
The absolute best fat loss workout you will find is
the one that combines cardiovascular or aerobic exercise with the use of weights. There are a number of these
workouts available as well and they offer you the best of both worlds.
You will get the cardiovascular that speeds up fat loss in addition to the weights that are
for strength training. This will help you build muscle mass which will also increase the amount of calories you
burn so that you will have the ideal fat loss workout that provides
you with everything you need.
Boot camp workouts
These can be great for fat loss but are not usually good choices for beginners unless they
specify that they are for that level. These are usually intense workouts that require you to be at a higher
level of fitness in order to do them effectively.
Step
workouts
There was a time when this was the hot new fad in working out, and you will still find that
there are quite a few on the market. Most of these make a great fat loss workout since they require you to step up
on a raised platform which increases your heart rate. Those that have knee problems should probably stay away
from step workouts for their fat loss plans since they put a lot of pressure on your knees throughout the entire
workout.
Pilates and yoga
workouts
Both of these are great for relaxing as well as toning your body. However, as far as using
them for fat loss, they don’t provide you with the cardiovascular or aerobic aspect that is needed to burn fat.
They will help you strengthen your muscles and obtain balance for an all around good feeling, but they are not
good as a fat loss workout.
Dance workouts
There are almost as many different types of dance workouts as there are workout tapes period.
These are great if you need something new to keep from becoming bored with the same old aerobics workout that
you have been doing for years. Some types of dance workouts can be misleading.
For instance, belly dancing is a lot of fun but it doesn’t engage the abdominal muscles in a
way that will help you get a flat belly or six-pack abs. This takes cardiovascular workouts that get the fat out
of the way and then strength training to work all of the muscles of the abs. If you notice, those demonstrating
the belly dancing workouts don’t have firm stomachs and some of them don’t even have flat
ones.
